OBITUARY
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un “Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him do we return."
Hassan Bin Muhammad was born on January 8, 1941, in Elizabeth, NJ, son of Jimmie Dees and Annabelle McDonald.
He attended public schools in Linden and Elizabeth.
Hassan was a pillar in his community. Everyone knew "Big Hass the Pool Shark".
Hassan was a hardworking man, devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His motto was always, "If I got it, then you got it". Hassan was a family man and made sure contact was kept with everyone near and dear to him.
Hassan had a sense of humor out of this world, and you rarely ever caught him without a smile on his face. Hassan worked in the construction/home repair and was a member of the Laborer's International Union for over 30 years.
Hassan was a very fashionable man. He stayed "sharp as a tack with a kufi to match". Hassan will be greatly missed.
Hassan Bin Muhammad returned to Allah on Friday, March 19, 2021. He leaves to cherish in his loving memory his daughters Khadijah Burns, Rhonda Stokes, his sons Hassan Stephens, Kaheem McDonald, loving brothers Hamin Muhammad, Rajahn O'Neal, a sister Lori Farred, a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Note from Khadijah:
Dad, you will be sorely missed. You taught and showed me what a hardworking, caring, and dedicated man should be, and you were my best friend. I feel at ease knowing that I did what was asked of me and that I made you proud.
LOVE YOU, DAD❤
