John Wright

John Wright also known as "Fu" was born November 1, 1956 to the late Shirley and John Wright. He was called to Allah on Friday, January 27, 2017.

John was educated in the Newark Public School system where he was profound football ball player. He later went and enrolled and attended Kean University.

John was a social man. He grew up and lived in Newark his entire life and acquired many friends which he stayed close with all of his life. He worked for Western Logistics for more than 20 years.

John was sick for many months. However, his daughter Shonda fought a hard fight for his comfortability and best interest. It goes unnoticed by the family.

John leaves behind to cherish his children Nicole, Nakita, Shonda (Keiron), Atif, Tiffany, Ribiyah and Jihad Ali, siblings Jaqueline (Pete), Defonzo (Sharon), Browyn (Michael), and Sharon (Carl), 17 grandkids, 2 great-grands, 11 nieces and nephews and a special friend Tisha.  He was proceeded in death by his parents Shirley and John Wright, brother Michael Wright, son Fuquan Ali and grandson Ibn Fuquan-Ali. He is also survived by a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
