Obituary

Ishaw Alibaksh departed her loving family on January 9, 2021 at the age of 80.

Ishaw was born in Port Mourant, Guyana on May 7,1940 to Rasulan and Alibaksh.

Ishaw was mother to Bebe (Zulaikah), Zaina, and Shahid. She raised her children with love and devotion in Cumberland, Guyana and then East Orange and Bloomfield, New Jersey.

She is survived by her three children: Bebe, Zaina and Shahid and her grandchildren: Arman, Alana, Kamran, Dylan, and Tyler.

Funeral services will be held at Islamic Burial Services, 279 Roseville Avenue, Newark, NJ 07107 on January 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

She will be laid to rest at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
